Achberg offers one of the most charming landscapes between Lake Constance, Allgäu and Upper Swabia with the Argen valley.

Below Achberg Castle, the ‘Flunauer Steg’, a 48 metre long suspension bridge, spans the Argen. It was built in 1885 and is one of six suspension bridges over the Argen.

The Blausee is an oligotrophic still water south of Primisweiler, the Teufelsee a lake silted up in a dead ice hole. Together with Mittelsee and Oberer See, both belong to the Primisweiler lake district and were formed towards the end of the Würm Ice Age.

A row of trees and bushes along the Sattelgraben, a 5 to 7 metre deep ravine (narrow valley) about 600 metres long.
