The Leiblach is a border river between Bavaria and Austria. As a river biotope, it provides a habitat for a number of endangered fish species such as streamer, tailor, nase, bullhead, brown trout and grayling.

The forest adventure trail leads through a gorge forest. The circular route takes about 1.5 hours. Several stream crossings such as suspension bridges, stone blocks and ropes offer a special adventure. The forest adventure trail is a unique composition of water and forest.

The shores of Lake Mehrerau, including the mouth of the Bregenzer Ach, form a unique natural landscape with their litter meadows, riparian forests and numerous waterfowl species. The Lake Constance forget-me-not and the Lake Constance beach meadow grass are two specialities that only occur in the Lake Constance region worldwide.

The Lauteracher Ried is a fascinating cultural landscape with a long history. The northern section is characterised by open meadows and majestic oak trees that create a park-like atmosphere. The middle section is a similar park landscape, but characterised by delicate birch trees and fertile fields. The southern section enchants with extensive, flowering meadows, including the orchards, which are worthy of protection and represent a true natural paradise.

The Schlosshügel in the municipality of Koblach in Vorarlberg (Austria) is a small, predominantly wooded inselberg that characterises the landscape and is a nature reserve.

Mighty dolomite protective slopes, steep rock formations and sparse pine and mountain pine forests characterise the image of the imposing southern flank of the Davenna. The crested alpine rose, the limestone and limestone slate scree slopes, the golden eagle, the snow heath, the moor lizard, dragonfly butterfly, carbonate mountain pine scrub and limestone cliffs with crevice vegetation are particularly protected.
